About me

My therapy sessions are based on providing a safe, non-judgemental, and nurturing environment for clients to explore ways to develop psychological flexibility and resilience, building upon their strengths and personal resources.

I use an adaptable approach based on extensive experience with evidence-based therapy including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Affirmative Psychology and Mindfulness.

I have been working over two decades with adults suffering from anxiety, depression, work-related stress and burnout, relationship issues, fertility and perinatal challenges, bereavement, and minority stress (migratory, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+). I also provide collaborative neuro-affirmative adult Autism assessments through www.adultautism.ie.

I work with clients who have physical conditions and learning differences, where we focus on building their life in line with their strengths, values, and needs. I have a strong commitment to supporting diversity in all its dimensions.

My previous experience in Human Resources management has given me with a deep understanding of the psychological impact that employment (or the lack of it) may have on an individual. I can support with areas such as the job search, promotions, transfers, career changes and any challenges within the working environment.
